visual arts educator
““I have seen how the art process can free a student through a visual language that speaks not only to the mind, but also to the heart. As an Art Educator and Artist, I have the opportunity to invite students to imagine and create a better world for themselves.””

Student Work
Here are examples of featured student work taught from an art cart. Each lesson is categorized by the year it was conducted, the corresponding grade level, the artist who inspired it, and its position on the choice spectrum. Most of my lessons currently fall under the "Limited Choice" or “Moderate Choice” categories. Each year, I update my curriculum with diverse lesson plans. My goal is to implement a more creative curriculum, allowing students greater autonomy, reduced teacher-directed projects, while still providing necessary teacher support.
